By using our website at acornwaste.ca (“Website”) and/or engaging with our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Acorn Waste Service provides waste collection services for multi-residential and commercial clients. Our services include, but are not limited to, waste disposal, recycling, and custom waste management solutions (“Services”).
3. Eligibility
To use our services, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. By using our Website or services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
4. Service Agreement
When engaging Acorn Waste Service for any waste collection or related services, a separate written service agreement (“Service Agreement”) may be required. The terms of such agreements are binding and will govern the scope, pricing, and terms of our Services. In case of any conflicts between these Terms and the Service Agreement, the Service Agreement will prevail.
5. Payment Terms
Billing: Payments for our services will be invoiced as agreed upon in the Service Agreement. All payments must be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
Late Payments: Any late payments may be subject to additional fees, including interest and administrative charges, as set forth in the Service Agreement or under applicable law.
Disputed Charges: If you believe there is an error in your invoice, please contact us immediately at lynsey@acornwaste.ca. Disputed charges must be raised within 30 days of receiving the invoice.
6. Cancellation and Termination
Client-Initiated Termination: You may terminate the Service Agreement by providing the required notice specified in your contract. Early termination fees may apply as outlined in the agreement.
Acorn Waste Service-Initiated Termination: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your services without prior notice if you breach any of these Terms or the Service Agreement, or if we are unable to provide our services due to circumstances beyond our control.
7. Use of the Website
Permitted Use: You may use the Website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site, or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Website.
Prohibited Activities: You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Attempting to interfere with the proper functioning of the Website.
- Uploading or transmitting any malicious code, virus, or other harmful software.
- Copying or duplicating any part of the Website’s content without our prior written consent.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or our services will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Guelph, Ontario.
